WESLACO — Police are investigating an overnight accident that left an elderly woman dead at an intersection.

Around 7:30 PM, on Tuesday, a 17 year-old driver struck an 83 year-old woman who was walking at the intersection of Oklahoma Avenue and Business 83. Police are treating the incident as an accident and have not filed any charges on the teen driver.
