To these men, Veteran's day is everyday. The Patriot Guard Riders call themselves brothers with one thing in common: an unwavering respect for those who risk their lives for America's freedom and security.

The group originally started by attending funeral services for fallen soldiers. With the recent deaths of  3 local heroes, the riders have been invited to several services.

The group makes its way to memorial sites every Veteran's day. They joined hundreds of people in McAllen Friday afternoon to honor those who have served and those who have fallen.
The Patriot Guard Riders aren't alone in their mission. Veterans from every war paid their respects today along with family members and soldiers. It's a bond all of them share, one they'll share forever.
