Penn State football coach will step down at end of season.

Longtime Penn State head football coach Joe Paterno is expected to announce later today that he will step down at the end of the season.

The legendary coach has faced criticism since former assistant coach Jerry Sandusky was charged with sexually abusing young boys.

Paterno has not been implicated in an alleged cover-up, but Penn State's former athletic director and vice president are facing charges.
