left children home alone

Brownsville police said that a call from a concerned citizen led them to five children left home alone in filthy conditions this weekend.

The children's parent's are each facing then charges; five for abandonment of a child with intent to return and five on endangerment of a child.

Police said 30-year-old Jose Pulido and 34-year-old Santa Maria Hernandez left their five children in unsanitary living conditions at their home Friday while they went out for a night of dancing.
