Brownsville fire officials are investigating two EMS paramedics who allegedly went on a paintball shooting spree while on duty.

According to police reports, a manager at T-COMM on Coffeeport Road called police after noticing blue paint on one of the gas pumps. After further review of a surveillance video, the mischief shows exactly when it happened. The report states an EMS unit pulled up to a pump at around 8:40 p.m. Thursday, May 7th. At that time, the pump was paint-free. However, when the unit drove off, which was about 15 minutes later, that same pump had been tagged.

“That’s just strictly unbelievable. I can't believe there are people out there doing something like that you know.”

Fire Chief Lenny Perez says an internal investigation is underway but the paramedics remain on the job tonight.
