BROWNSVILLE - A  Cameron county jury has sentenced  Wilfredo Padilla to 80 years in prison for the murder of Jo Ann Chavez  of Harlingen back in 2003.

Padilla was sentenced to 50 years in prison for murder and 30 years for engaging in organized criminal activity and also a $10,000 fine for each conviction.
