Overtime NFL Talks Extended

Friday, March 4, 2011 - 12:30pm

NFL owners and players agree to continue talks on collective bargaining.

Negotiations between the National Football League and its players union have been extended.

Late Thursday evening the owners and players agreed to extend their talks and the current agreement for another 24-hours.

The two sides are trying to reach common ground on how they will divide the league's $9-billion in annual revenue.

If an agreement isn't reached players could be locked out, putting next season in jeopardy.
