Onstar dispatcher walks couple through roadside delivery of their new baby girl.

OnStar provides subscribers with help in the event of a road emergency.

The service sure came in handy for an expectant Oklahoma mom.

Lilly Hunt wasn't supposed to be here for three more weeks, but the precious bundle of joy arrived a little early, in the front seat of her brand new pickup truck.

Brad and Rebecca Hunt were racing to Oklahoma City's Mercy Hospital, confident they'd make it in plenty of time.

They didn't quite get there, pulling over at the I-35/Kilpatrick Turnpike interchange.

"With OnStar we thought we'd call, let'em know we were speeding. Maybe get a police escort. But they stayed on the phone. Good people," Brad Hunt said afterward.

The dispatcher not only stayed on the phone, but talked this couple through child birth.

"The dispatcher was breathing with me. 'Let's breathe together.' So we did. She was calming me down. 'Yeah, Mr. Hunt you're doing great. Keep up the encouragement.' It was a rush," said Rebecca.

Medics arrived just in time to finish the delivery and escort the family safely to the hospital.

At 7-pounds-13-ounces and 21 inches long, Lilly is absolutely perfect, despite her unique arrival.
