University of Texas Pan American police and the FBI have arrested 35 year-old Miguel Angel Navarro as one of the three men believed to be responsible for the September 25th kidnapping of a female student from the campus parking lot. Navarro appeared before a judge on Wednesday afternoon at a Edinburg Municipal court and charged with kidnapping. The victim, whose name is being withheld for her protection, was released without harm by her kidnappers the day after she was abducted. The kidnappers had requested money for the victim's safe return, but let the victim go after no ransom was paid.
