One Last Mission

Space Shuttle Atlantis makes a successful start on its final flight.

Space Shuttle Atlantis ripped through the clouds, rushing toward space and a rendezvous with history friday morning.

The final flight is a re-stocking mission.

Atlantis is delivering spare parts, supplies and scientific instruments for future experements on the International Space Station.

The final flight was originally scheduled for 12 days in space, but NASA is already considering adding at least one more day to the mission.

That decision will be made within the next week.
