An oil leak at the Port of Brownsville, on Tuesday, created a mess and did leak into port waters.

A pipeline break on land, dumped vegetable oil into a drain which then found it's way into the port water. Fifty barrels spilled onto the land and 100 barrels remain unaccounted for from the spill. Port officials and the U.S. Coast Guard and the General Land Office have put booms in the water to contain the oil and begin the clean up process.
