South Padre Island's Ocean Tower that was set to be demolished this month has been rescheduled for December.

A spokesperson with the firm representing the demolition company says the mid-November date was just a preliminary date. Now that the demolition crews are done inspecting the tower and areas surrounding it, officials moved the date to sometime in December. The company says they should have a date set in a couple of weeks.
