President Obama travels to areas struggling to recover in wake of Hurricane Sandy.

Thousands of New Yorkers are still without power more than two weeks after Hurricane Sandy rocked the region.

President Obama on Thursday visited the communities in New York City hardest hit by the storm and promised help.

"We are going to make sure we stay here as along as people need that immediate help. That's FEMA's primary task," the president promised residents.
