New Evidence Presented in Murder Trial of Laura Garza

A New York detective says 25 year-old Michael Mele, who is accused of murdering McAllen native Laura Garza, had a bite mark on his finger and scratches on his back two days after her disappearance according to the Associated Press. However the detective in the case says, Mele told him, the mark on his finger was a knife cut incurred at work and the scratches cam from his cat.
