Nestor Andres, winner of The Voice auditions hosted by Shah Eye Center
McAllen, TEXAS (KVEO NEWSCENTER 23) — It was a pleasure hosting the Voice auditions last Saturday evening at the Shah Eye Center in Mission.
One hundred forty three preliminary singers sang a cappella to our four fabulous judges, from there the judges narrowed it down to the final 25 best singers.
At 7 p.m., all the finalist, as well as three 'saves,' or runner ups singers and three 'wild card' singers, competed in big outdoor concert.
Congratulations to Nestor Andres, he wins an all expense paid trip to New York to audition for the producers of the Voice.
Four other winners were given an appointment to audition in New York as well.
If you didn't get a chance to try out, or were a little too nervous this time, don't worry, NewsCenter 23 hopes to host another Voice competition in the future.
