NATIONAL - The Gay and Lesbian alliance against defamation, is backing a "National same sex kiss day" planned for Chick-Fil-A Restaurants nationwide

"Chick-Fil-A Appreciation day" organized by former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, drew long lines of supporters of the company and free speech.

Chick-Fli-A, which said it was not involved in creating the event, says it set a sales record that day.

Organizers of today's event are no doubt hoping for a similar turnout.

They're asking same sex couples to go to Chick-Fil-A Restraunts and kiss in protest, and then post a video or photos on social media.

As of early Friday morning, about 13 Thousand people said they would participate on the events Facebook page.
