WESLACO - A traffic accident on the expressway led to a fatal motorcycle crash killing the rider.

Police say that around 7:30 AM a car and another motorcycle collided on the two thousand block of west expressway 83. As traffic maneuvered around the accident a second motorcycle rider attempted to pass the first accident but ended up crashing into the back end of an SUV. The impact killed the 83 year-old rider who suffered from head injuries.
