No charges will be filed against the mother of a 7 year-old special needs girl, who drowned in a pool on Wednesday afternoon.

Lupita Salinas was found dead in a swimming pool at Santa Maria City Park and Cameron county officials say the girl wandered off when her mother was doing the laundry. The pool was gated, but there is a hole where the child may have gone in through.
