The mother of a 2 year-old boy was arrested for child endangerment after her toddler was found wandering nearly a busy intersection.

A call, from a concerned citizen, was made to the Brownsville police department of a child walking unsupervised near the 100 block of Billy Mitchell. When police arrived at the scene they were able to make contact with someone who knew the family and returned the child to his home. The mother stated she did not know the child was missing, but police arrested her for her negligence and was charged with child endangerment. Her bond was set at $5,000 dollars and the child was turned over to his grandparents.
