As Americans get ready to roll up their sleeves for two flu vaccines this year.
Seasonal flu shots are being rolled out at doctor's offices and pharmacies now leaving many to wonder if it's too soon. According to CDC officials, getting a flu shot now will not reduce your immunity to the virus before flu season ends, but will protect you through the spring. Others are questioning the H1N1 vaccine and whether its rapid development means it is less safe.
Experts say the H1N1 vaccine is made the same way as the regular flu shot, a method that has been tested and proven safe for years. The only difference between the vaccines is the virus strain and experts say there is no evidence getting both shots at the same time is harmful.
