The Cameron County sheriff department continues to investigate after two people found stabbed in Calaboz.
42 year old Lorena Gonzalez and 38 year old Homero de los Santos were found with multiple stab wounds Thursday afternoon.
Deputies are current looking for a person of interest. His name is 47 year old Mario Gonzalez San Roman. Roman has a criminal past. He was arrested in March in Cameron County for an aggravated assault and in September for making a terroristic threat.

A jury found Rio Hondo resident Eric Christopher Gonzalez, who killed a Harlingen woman during a 2011 high-speed chase, guilty of murder.

A State District Judge sentenced Gonzalez to 50 years in prison. Harlingen police attempted to stop Gonzalez, 34, for a traffic violation on the morning of March 24, 2011.
Gonzalez instead took law enforcement on a high-speed chase that tragically ended at the intersection of Ed Carey and Hwy 77 when he passed a red light and hit the victim’s car.

Opening statements in the second degree murder trial against George Zimmerman are set to begin this morning in Florida.

Nik Wallenda completed a tightrope walk over the grand canyon in northeastern Arizona Sunday night.

It took Wallenda 22 minutes and 54 seconds to walk across a two-inch thick steel cable that was suspended 15-hundred feet above the Little Colorado River Gorge.

The 34-year-old is now the first person to have walked across the Grand Canyon on a tightrope.

He was not wearing a harness nor was there a safety net below him.
The event was broadcast around the world on "The Discovery Channel."
Wallenda says he will now like to walk between two skyscrapers in New York City.
