Two former Panama Unit officers plead guilty

MCALLEN, TEXAS (KVEO NEWSCENTER 23) — Two more suspects, in the Panama Unit case, plead guilty.
At the Federal Courthouse building in McAllen, Fabian and Alvaro Gilberto Dehoyos both pleaded guilty Friday, June 28th.
As of Saturday, June 29th, 7 of the 12 suspects in the case have pleaded guilty.
Members of the Panama Unit were from the Mission Police Department and Hidalgo County Sheriff's Department.
They're accused of taking confiscated narcotics and selling the narcotics to other drug dealers.
