The Moody Clinic in Brownsville is hosting it's 16th annual Poinsettia Fundraiser on Tuesday and more than 1,000 plants have already been sold.

The popular holiday plant will be available for $20 dollars each in red and white colors. If you pre-order Poinsettias from the Moody Clinic, you can pick them up from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at First Methodist Church.

The proceeds will go to the treatment for children who have disabilities with the Brownsville Rotary Clubs have already donated $10,000 dollars.

Employees at the Moody Clinic are hoping the donation amount will double by the end of the fundraiser as Director Debbie Sears commented, "There will be over $20,000 the proceeds of this will go directly toward the services we can provide to help children improve in their ability to walk, to talk, to move their hands, to move their bodies and that's our purpose. To be here for children with any type of disability that need our service."
