A pair of teens are in jail after police say they alledgedly stole a handgun from a car and used it to threaten another teen.

Jaydee Hernandez and Juan Alvarez are facing charges of theft, deadly conduct and carrying a weapon.  Police say after they stole the handgun on Saturday, they were in a group of four... when another group of teens approached them.

When asked about some money being owed, Hernandez alledgedly aimed the gun at the victim.

The victims left and called police.

"He was scared," said Manny Casas of the Mission Police Department about the victim. "He said, 'they just pointed a gun at my face, they were going to shoot me' ... The officers were able to converge on the area immediately.

"We found out that one male and a female did not have anything to do with it, they were just there. The other two did."

Police said the suspects had taken xanax tablets and had a bullet in the chamber when the threat was made.
