Mission man charged with burglarizing high school library

A Mission man is arrested after breaking into the high school library and attempting to steal several lap-tops.

On Monday, August 19th police were dispatched to Mission High School in reference to a burglary.

When officers arrived they noticed the library window had been shattered and several lap-top computers were found on the side of the building.

Detectives obtained surveillance video and were able to identify the suspect as Christopher Lee Tarbutton, 20, who resided in the neighborhood.

Tarbutton was arrested that same evening and has been charged with burglary of a building and accessed a $5,000 bond.
