Mission I.S.D. to Use School Messenger System
The Mission I.S.D. is launching a new calling and notification system that school officials hope will improve communication between parents.
It's called School Messenger, what the program does is remind parents of important school events, school cancellations or schedule changes. School officials say this will not replace the practice of sending home notes and notices. Parents will be able to receive the message fast and efficient.
The message system is also sent in English and Spanish, school officials also say it keeps your contact information up to date with your child's school so you won't miss any important information that may affect you and your student.
