Middle School Student Carrying Handgun on Campus Shot and Killed by Local Police

Police have identified the student as 15-year-old Jaime Gonzalez who was carrying a handgun on school property. Local police were immediately notified and arrived on the scene within minutes. According to reports, the student engaged officers who were then forced to open fire. There is no word yet on whether the eighth grade student discharged his own weapon. The teenager was transferred to Valley Baptist Medical Center immediately after the shooting but was pronounced dead at shortly after nine a.m. BISD officials maintain no other students were injured in the incident.

why didnt the police use a better way to subdue the teenager they didnt have to kill him. Doesnt the police have better ways in how to deal with these type of situations. It was wrong of him to take a pellet gun to school but poor kid really!!

He was carrying a pellet gun. Get your facts correct
