Mexican soldiers have arrested the suspected leader of the Zeta drug cartel member Juan Carlos Olivera Acosta.
He is responsible for attacking federal police while he unsuccessfully tried to rescue five members of his own gang. The army says he led criminal activities like drug trafficking, kidnapping, robberies and killings in the state of Nuevo Leon. He is also thought to be behind an attack on a military base in February of last year.
