Mexican Marines capture Zeta cartel leader
The leader of the Zeta cartel has been captured, that's according to our news partners at the Texas Tribune.
Miguel Trevino Morales, who allegedly ran the most brutal cartel in Mexico, has reportedly been captured by Mexican authorities in the City of Nuevo Laredo.
Trevino was reportedly captured by Mexican Marines early Monday morning and the Texas Tribune confirmed the capture with a U.S. investigator familiar with Trevino and his connection to Texas.
He was also being sought by U.S. authorities on various charges including murders in Laredo.
