Mexican investigators say they have uncovered new information in the murder of American David Hartley, who was allegedly shot and killed by Mexican pirates.

Those officials are talking about an interview that happened on Friday and despite reports, Mexico has permanently suspended it's search for the body of David Hartley. Authorities say this new information will allow the investigation to continue, NBC's Janet Shamlian has the details.
