Couple records angry tirade during argument over parking meter.

Video of a Delray Beach, Florida volunteer parking attendant losing his temper while writing tickets has caused the city to open up an internal investigation into the incident.

Bill Evans was recording the video with his iPhone.

He says he started rolling on the attendant because he was harassing and following his wife, Andi.

"I said I want you to know how it feels to be videoed and have pictures taken of you for no reason," Evans said.

Evans says the incident stems from an incident earlier in the day in question when Andi was parking her car on the beach.

Andi says she stepped about 20 feet away from her car to wave her friend down and when she turned around to put money in the meter the attendant slapped a ticket on her car.

"I was like 'wait a minute,' " Andi Evans said. "I told him I stole quarters out of my daughter's piggy bank for the meter."

Andi says the attendant didn't care and started yelling at her and taking pictures of her.

She says he even followed her as she moved her car.

"He started following me to my next parking spot and continued to take pictures of me," she said. "I was crying."

Andi then called her husband who drove to the beach to look for the man.

When he found him, he started recording him with his iPhone.

The parking enforcement volunteer didn't like it.

"He basically slapped my face and my phone and called me a woodchuck," Bill Evans said. "I'd really like to know what that means."

In the video you can hear the attendant cursing at the couple and even express disregard for his own job.

"I'm a volunteer! I don't care about this job," the parking attendant said.

Delray Beach Mayor Woodie McDuffie has since learned of the incident and says the man has been relieved from his position.

"We don't tolerate this," McDuffie said. "We have opened an internal investigation."

Bill and Andi Evans are happy to hear the volunteer is no longer patrolling parking spaces.

"He definitely has anger problems," Bill Evans said. "That should be addressed."

Delray Beach did not release the name of the parking attendant and would only confirm that he has been fired from his position.
