Oregon swimmer's mermaid costume is a big hit at the local pool.

A mermaid is creating quite a splash at a Portland, Oregon public pool.

56-year-old Pauline Long, or "Myst" as she calls herself in the water, created her own mermaid costume.

Long says it's something she's wanted to do since meeting another "mermaid" a few years back.
