RIO GRANDE VALLEY — Medicaid Managed Care is now in full effect in the ten counties of the Rio Grande Valley since March 1st.

Recipients were required to choose one of several insurance plans that the state offered in order to provide better service and save the state money. The plan is expected to save $100 million dollars over the next two years.
