The tallest building in McAllen, Neuhaus Tower, has a new owner based out of Austin.

Cielo Realty Partners bought the 17 floor structure from its previous owner, Toronto based Brookfield Asset Management.

The 33 year-old building and surrounding property are valued at about $9 million dollars and is located on South 10th Street.

It was once the home to McAllen State Bank and a top floor restaurant and the new owners plan to renovate the property to attract new tenants.
