McAllen police search for person of interest in Sunday morning shooting

McAllen police arrested one man and are searching for a second individual who is considered a person of interest in an early Sunday morning shooting.

On February 9th at around 2:15 a.m. two men, identified as Aaron Gomez and Adrain Gomez , from San Juan, were shot at on the 200 block of South 17th Street and both were transported to a local hospital for their injuries.

Police did arrest Romeo Aaron Garcia, 23, from Alice, who was charged with criminal attempted murder, aggravated assault and unlawfully carrying a weapon. His was handed a bond totaling $750,000 and investigators are searching for another man considered a person of interest in this crime.
