McAllen police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect accused of stealing jewelry at a local pawn shop.

On Friday, December 27th at around 7 p.m. police were called to the EZ Pawn store located on the 2100 block of West Nolana.

Employees reported that a man had entered the business, approached a jewelry display case, smashed the glass case removing the jewelry and exiting the store.

Store surveillance video captured an image of the suspect as he fled and police are attempting to identify him.

Anyone with information to the identity of the suspect, where the suspect may be located, or information about the crime is urged to call McAllen Crime Stoppers at 956-687-TIPS (956-687-8477).
