MCALLEN — Online fall registration for McAllen schools kicked-off on Monday and it is the second year since the McAllen I.S.D. has implemented the system for students and their parents. The online registration is relatively new in the public education area, but it is servicing nearly 25,000 students in the district as Mark May stated, "It certainly beats the old way in which you had to go to the school and might have to devote as much as half a day going from station to station and bringing all those papers. I know for a lot of  parents it was problematic because they have jobs too." Student's register alphabetically by their last name and computers will be available to parents throughout the next month.
