McAllen Convention Center Host Car Fest

McALLEN  - Sunday was the third and final day of Car Fest which was held at the McAllen Convention Center and nearly two hundred cars were on displayed.

The event featured styles ranging from classic and antique to muscle cars,  hot rods and race cars. Event Organizer Al Diaz spoke about some of the new technology showcased in the vehicles, "Most of it you know, they have the mp3's, they have the touch screen, most of the voice activation, all sorts of different little TV's for kids in the back of the car, inside the car, side doors that are coming up on command or on digital command. Those are the things that are coming out."

Cars in each category received awards liek most detailed, the mayor's choice, and the one that gets all the bragging rights in the Valley, best in show.
