This is Debbie Alford, Marisa Espindola, and Adriana Nash. They call themselves the *Hot Tamales*.
On Sunday in Washington DC they will be taking part in the Marine Corps Marathon.
Along with 30,000 runners they will be running the race.
The majority of the runners are running for a cause.
"We chose Allergy and Asthma Network Mother of Asthmatics, It's one of the directors visions to form a team of 20 people to raise funds and bring awareness to allergy and asthma."
The Hot Tamales have raised more than $1,500 by themselves. The whole 20 person AANMA team composed of runners from around country have raised more than$10,000 dollars for the organization.
This organization really hits home for Marisa Espindola.
"My kids have asthma I have 4 kids, my oldest have asthma he's 12, I have my twin boys who are 7 they have asthma so, it's neat because you know your helping others."
The trio has been training since June for the big race.
"We have been training for it and I think we are prepared, hopefully we will do well."
They fly out to Washington DC on Friday.
