A non profit organization in the upper valley has helped hundreds of recovering addicts and gang members change their lives. It"s all run by one man who says he'll do whatever it takes to prevent today's youth from following in his footsteps.

Frank Vasquez is no stranger to gangs. He grew up in  san Antonio he lived a harsh and dangerous lifestyle filled with violence, drugs and alcohol. For over 20 years he struggled to find his way.

Vasquez was arrested over 18 times but now he dedicates his life to helping others across the upper valley.
He has been sober for over 9 years and along with his wife he runs a recovery center tied in with religious influence.

Vasquez tells us the most effective tool is prevention and with so much violence and gang activity in the upper valley. he hopes to create an outlet to those who want a second chance at life.
