A 35 year-old man is fighting for his life in a San Antonio hospital after he was shot in the head.

It happened on Monday morning, April 15, just before 11 a.m. at a convenience store off of Ruben Torres. Police say Roman Garcia was pumping gas when two suspects, a man and a woman, came up to him and shot him.

Right now two people are being questioned by police in connection to the crime and police aren't releasing much information now, but they do have a preliminary motive for the aggravated assault.

Cameron County Sheriff Omar Lucio stated, "It has to do with boyfriend girlfriend stuff as far as that goes, ok, lovers quarrel, whatever you want to call it, but that's what it appears to be at the present time."

If you have any information on this crime contact the Cameron County Sheriff's Office.
