Man on Probation Faces New Charges
Drugs and swords were found in his vehicle, but it was an ignored traffic sign that ultimately landed a driver in jail.
Misael Avila faced a judge on Tuesday and informed the judge that he had just been placed on probation on Friday for other charges against him. Avila has a slew of new charges that were filed against him on Tuesday after he led police in a car chase after refusing to pull over for officers.
Avila did stop and police officers did search the vehicle he was driving and found marijuana and Xanex pills in a drug free zone. The arresting officer also found two swords in the backseat of the car and place Avila under arrest. Avila's troubles didn't end there because after he was placed in the backseat of the officers car he kicked out the back window and threatened hurt the officer's children.
