Man Hunt for Suspects Involved In Shooting

It was quite a scene in El Ranchito as it was a multi agency search for two suspects involved in a shooting at a convenient store parking lot.

AR 15's, Border Patrol Agents, Sheriff's Deputies, and several law enforcement agencies lined the streets of a usually quite Los Ranchitos road.

"It was scary."

This little girl named Evelyn looked on with her family as authorities surrounded their friends house. Law enforcement was looking for two suspects involved in a shooting.

"We saw police right here and right there."

The Cameron County Sheriff says it all started a stripes on 1732. Two vehicles got in a gunfight leaving this ford escape with a bullet hole to the windshield and causing the two side windows to get blown out. The sheriff says two people in a Escape drove to this road El Ranchito.

The two suspects fled out this Escape and Border Patrol with high powered weapons looked for the two suspects.

The multi agency search which started just before 5 ended around 7:30.

The sheriff's department says they have not been able to find two suspects yet. He tells us the search and investigation will continue. They are also on the lookout for a white pickup truck they say was involved in this shooting.
