A man has been found dead near Las Lomas in Starr county and police say he was shot multiple times in the back.

Police have identified the man as 22 year-old Ramon Rameriz Jr. who is a known gang member though police haven't confirmed if that's related to his death. Representatives from the District Attorney's office say  the discovery of his body happened around 2:30 pm on Thursday in the Tierra Linda Colonia.
