A Monterrey man drowned near beach access five just before 6 PM on Wednesday evening after a call to 911 came in about a possible drowning.

When first responders arrived the found 44 year-old Jaime Yesaki floating face down in the water. Emergency personnel tried to resuscitating Yesaki while transporting him to a Brownsville hospital, however, he never recovered and died two hours later.
