BROWNSVILLE - Police have arrested James Edward Tamayo who is accused of sexually assaulting a 14 year-old female.

Police report that the assault happened at a Brownsville hotel nearly three weeks ago and on Wednesday police arrested Tamayo at his home. Investigators say Tamayo met the female teen through a mutual friend.
