U.S. Custom agents detained Jose Manuel Saavedra  and handed him over to Brownsville police after he was stopped at the B&M port of entry for driving a stolen vehicle.

The agents discovered he was driving a 1997 Plymouth Voyager that had been reported stolen out of Dallas and Saavedra was arraigned on Tuesday morning on theft charges.
