News Center 23 spoke with Teresa Puente, the victim's girlfriend.

Puente tells us what she saw Tuesday night when here boyfriend was murdered, and why she is now scared for her life.

Tears came down the face of Teresa Puente who relives what happened at her home in this quiet neighborhood last night.

"My ex-husband ran form the back and started stabbing Franky in the chest."

Puente grabbed her children and ran down the street asking for help.

Puente's ex-husband fled the scene in a car.

After Losoya was stabbed several times, he came out to the street with his girl friend and fell to ground.

"I felt the stabs were not for Franky but intended for me, but since Franky was there it happened to him."

Losoya died shortly after, and sheriff's men able to find Puente around midnight and arrest him.

Puente is still worried though.

"I feel that his family is capable of coming over here to harm my child."

Monday morning Puente got a very scary call from Efrain Puente from the county jail.

"He says if he finds me with anyone else while he's in jail, he will find some one to wipe the smiles off the kids faces because i will send someone to kill you as well."

Efrian Puente remains in the Cameron County Jail until his arraignment tomorrow.
