Fallen hero Alex Gonzalez body returns to the Valley.

The 21year old Army Specialist's body was flown into McAllen.

Tuesday morning the community gathered to pay respects to the fallen solider.

Family and friends were at the airport as the body arrived.

Some taking pictures, holding signs, and even shedding tears.

Specialist Gonzalez lost his life after being bombarded by a rocket grenade while fighting for his country in Iraq.

The body was transferred in a hurse to a funeral home in mission as supporters of gonzalez looked on lining the streets outside the airport.

Gonzalez is one of 28 Valley soldiers to die, while serving in Iraq.
