Mother's Day is just around the corner and today hundreds of mothers in Brownsville are honored for their hard work helping in schools.

Live music, food, and other fun activities just a small token of appreciation put on by the Brownsville I.S.D. Parental Program. Each of the more than 600 mothers got a corsages. These are the people who volunteer their time to help students and faculty in the schools. In total, there are 2,600 volunteers that help out in the Parental Involvement Program.
